Terms & Conditions

Introduction

Welcome to Plot the Story Plot! We are genuinely excited to support your writing journey, but before we dive, please take a moment to review the terms that guide how bookings, services, payments, and communication work. These terms are here to keep everything respectful, transparent, and fair.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and any coaching sessions, consultations, or services offered through it. By using this site or booking a session, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree with them, please refrain from using the website or services.

These Terms may be updated periodically. The most current version will always be available on the website with a revised effective date. Continued use of the site or services indicates acceptance of updated terms.

About Plot the Story Plot

Plot the Story Plot is a creative story coaching service that provides guidance and support, not guaranteed outcomes. We do not promise publication, representation, viral success, or specific creative results — but we will do our best to help you grow as a writer.

Plot the Story Plot offers:

  • Story Coaching: One-on-one support to help you strengthen plot, character direction, clarity, and story craft.

  • Consultations: Focused sessions to talk through ideas, blocks, challenges, or specific story elements.

  • Emotional Writing Support: Space to vent, unpack creative stress, explore mindset blocks, and reconnect with your writing.

From time to time, we may offer newsletters, digital products, online courses, or podcast-related materials. These Terms also apply to those services unless otherwise stated.

Booking and Payment

All bookings are made through the website’s booking form or integrated scheduling service.

  • Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.

  • Accepted payment methods include those supported by Wix, PayPal, or Stripe.

  • Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and may change at any time.

  • Once payment is processed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with session details.

Sessions begin and end at their scheduled times. If you arrive late, the session still ends at the original time to respect other bookings. If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, the session may be marked as missed.

Sessions are held online. You are responsible for ensuring a stable connection, working audio/video, and access to required links. If technical issues occur on our end, we will reschedule or extend the session at no cost to you.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations or reschedules must be requested at least 24 hours before your session.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours may not be eligible for a refund.

  • If you miss your session without notice, the session will be marked as completed.

  • If we ever need to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, you’ll be notified as soon as possible and offered a new time. A refund may be offered for one-time payments only.

Refund Policy

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you’re unhappy with a service, please reach out within 7 days of your session, and we’ll do our best to find a fair solution.

Refunds cannot be issued for completed sessions or missed appointments.
